As part of the Citigold program, clients are issued with the CitiCard gold debit card that brings them many attractive benefits at the very beginning of the journey as well as during their stay anywhere abroad.

One unique feature is the possibility of connecting the debit card with any current account in a foreign currency opened with Citibank. Payments made using the CitiCard are then charged directly to the selected account, without the need for currency conversion. Thanks to this option of converting the debit card to work with any current account, customers need not own multiple payment cards. The gold CitiCard debit card is also issued with a default package of travel insurance for the cardholder and their entire family.

The holders of the gold CitiCard debit card may use benefits in many hotels all over the world. They can choose from various VIP packages, redeem spa vouchers, savor free breakfasts and enjoy their stays in higher class rooms. If the holder’s gold CitiCard is stolen or lost, the holder can use the “Emergency Cash” service thanks to which they will receive the cash needed for their stay abroad from any Citibank branch abroad.
