3M Cesko runs a traffic safety project together with Allianz the insurance company

3M Cesko and the Czech insurance company Allianz created a “Traffic accident map of Czech roads” which is to track the most dangerous hotspots where the highest rate of accidents per year has been measured. 7 of the most dangerous locations were chosen and further analyzed.
“Over 40% of all accident is caused by insufficient or bad quality traffic signing. That is why 3M decided to follow its mission to make the world a safer place and is participating in revitalization of the traffic signing in these critical road spots” said Eduard Perski, the Sales Supervisor, TSSD. There is a special project for every single location created and the spot is being carefully analyzed from the traffic safety perspective. An ideal solution is further developed and implemented using 3M reflective materials. This way every critical spot is being equipped with new traffic signs, which are highly visible even in bad weather conditions or at night and thus giving the driver more time to react to their message.
The project proceeds according to plan and there was already second location revitalized in June. Also a video has been shot at the very spot with high accident rate in which the representatives of all institutions involved in this project are explaining the importance of the project and its benefits for the respective region.
