The main take-off and landing runway RWY 06/24 at Václav Havel Airport Prague was again put into operation on Monday, 30th September 2013, after finishing the second and final stage of its general reconstruction.
The airport has now a cement concrete runway of the highest quality and long term service life. The operations at Václav Havel Airport Prague have been switched back to the main runway. The secondary runway will be used for operations only in the case when meteorological conditions do not allow take-offs and landings on the main runway.
