Phant is a perfect match to Prague and its people

Phant wines are produced under a strict supervision of an international expert team chaired by Elsie Pells, Cape Wine Master.

Elsie spent most of her last three years in Prague, truly falling in love with this magnificent city and as a great „wine ambassador“ advocates that Phant is a “perfect match to Prague and its people”.

„Phant brings sunshine to your table during cold winter months in Prague“, Elsie kept repeating at many wine tastings over the last few years.

Phant wines are produced at a winery in Western Cape, South Africa. Phant wines are very versatile and were developed both to be served on its own, and to pair perfectly with many traditional Czech and International dishes.

These are the key reasons why Phant wines are currently served in many restaurants across Czech Republic with dishes so specific as „Svíčková s knedlíkem“ which goes so well with Phant Sauvignon Blanc. You can try that amazing combination for example in Malostranská Beseda, Malostranské náměstí 21, Praha 1.

Of the red wines Phant Shiraz is possibly the most popular as it pairs extremely well with the local „Tatarák”. Try it at Potrefená Husa Anděl, Nádražní 23, Praha 5.

Phant Sauvignon Blanc or Phant Muscat d´Alexandrie are delicious matched to many Thai dishes which you can try at Yam-Yam restaurant.

Phant Chenin Blanc was selected together with Phant Shiraz for Thanksgiving Ball 2013 by the American Chamber of Commerce to accompany the traditional pumpkin soup and roasted Turkey with delicate chestnut stuffing, for a heavenly match.
