Global average income tax rate increases again this year by 0.3 percentage points

For the second consecutive year, the average tax rate on income of individuals increased by 0,3 percent worldwide. Nine countries increased their income taxes which is the second highest number over the last ten years. Many countries try to solve public deficit problems by creating new tax brackets for those with high incomes or introduce new temporary taxes.
