Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide, one of the world’s leading providers of relocation services, is pleased to be celebrating the fifth anniversary of its Graebel EMEA center in 2014. The Graebel EMEA center is based in Prague, and since its inception it has grown from just two people in 2008, to more than 47 today, and is still growing.
Graebel in the Czech Republic acts as a coordination hub for the entire EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) in order to provide high-quality and cost-effective employee relocation services for globally active companies across 153 different countries. Graebel’s comprehensive services include everything from cost projections, tax counseling, visa coordination, home finding and settling-in services, to driver’s license assistance, packing, transport and delivery of household goods.
Commenting on the company’s first five years of success, Ben Ivory, the Managing Director of Graebel EMEA said:
“We are extremely proud of the success of the EMEA service center in Prague. Our clients enjoy working with our multi-lingual, energetic and diverse staff and its location, in the very center of Europe, makes us extremely accessible and able to respond immediately to our client’s needs. We have found Prague a great place to grow talent, and in the past two years a number of our Czech staff have been promoted to roles in the UK, Singapore and the US.
Despite the weak economy, our EMEA clients are growing. In order to compete and grow, we find that companies need to match the right talent to their own needs, and often that requires a relocation. Moving for an employee and family is always challenging and our job is to make the process smooth and cost effective. We call it providing “peace of mind”. This is my first posting outside the US, and I must say that I am I am extremely impressed with the skills and quality of the Czech workforce. I am learning something new every day, and I am very optimistic for the future.”
Graebel Relocation Services Worldwide has received a number of top industry honours in the last five years, including the HRO Magazines’s Baker’s Dozen from 2009-2013, as well as the title of #1 Relocation Company in the Americas, 2013, from the Forum for Expatriate Management (FEM).
