DVOŘÁK MUSIC FESTIVAL
In the mid-1990’s, The Dvořák Music Festival was founded at Nelahozeves Castle. In its 16 year history, over 500 concerts have taken place featuring performers such as Renée Fleming, Barbara Hendricks, Josef Suk and Eva Urbanová, to name just a few. Numerous local and international orchestras, chamber and vocal groups have also performed in locations that also include other historical venues in and around Prague. The first concert will take place on April 26 in the Knight´s Hall.

SPANISH PRAGUE

The Spanish Prague Exhibition brings together paintings, sculptures, books, prints and more from museums and
galleries in Prague, as well as church collections. The Lobkowicz Collections loaned the graphic print of Archduke Charles as King Charles III of Spain, later Emperor Charles VI, by Elias Christophorus Heiss and the portrait of Juan de Borja y Castro by follower of Antonis Mor.
CZECH BIBLE THROUGH THE CENTURIES

The Lobkowicz Collections loaned the Saint Wenceslas Bible translated into Czech from 1677 to 1715.
POTTERY-MAKING MARKET AT NELAHOZEVES CASTLE
APRIL 25 – 26, 2009
For the seventh year the Pottery-Making Market will be held at Nelahozeves Castle on 25th and 26th
April. This includes local vendors selling traditional handmade pottery and ceramic products, tours of the castle exhibition by guides in period costumes, a falconry show, period program and various workshops for both children and adults. Seasonal specialities from the Castle Restaurant will also be available in the courtyard and the castle cellars, including a tasting of awardwinning Lobkowicz wines. Visitors will also have an opportunity to shop the elegant Museum Shop for spring bargains and gifts.
