The Prague office of international law firm CMS, is considered one of the leading law firms in the Czech Republic. According to the recently published Chambers Global Guide to the Legal Profession, CMS is particularly rated for advising on high profile M&A and finance transactions, and for representing clients in disputes.

"Transactional work and litigations are of strategic and commercial importance for businesses, we are proud that our clients and the market recognise us for these areas of work," says Helen Rodwell, Managing Partner of CMS Prague.

The firm's partners are strongly represented in the top tiers of the tables, with both Managing Partner Helen Rodwell (Corporate/M&A) and Paul Stallebrass (Banking & Finance) ranked in band one in their respective sectors. Other ranked partners include: Tomáš Matějovský (Dispute Resolution), Ian Parker (Corporate / M&A) and Pavla Křečková, Ana Radnev and Mark Segall (all Banking & Finance).

The Chambers Guide also recognised CMS Prague's strong regional practice with Prague-based partners including Helen Rodwell, Paul Stallebrass, Ana Radnev and Mark Segall, appearing prominently in their Banking & Finance and Corporate/M&A rankings for Central & Eastern Europe.

Helen Rodwell says of CMS' regional practice: "The Prague office is a hub for our regional Banking & Finance and Corporate practices. These no longer have a sole focus on providing English law advice to international companmies investing in CEE, but are actually of a growing importance for our clients in Czech Republic who increasingly come to us for advice in relation to their investments into neighbouring countries and beyond".
