Company: Amcham

Prague, 3 April 2014 – The Industrial Agency of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) has successfully negotiated the new build to suit facility in Kutná Hora which has been handed over in time and budget and exceeded the clients expectations:

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn has completed ca. 25,000 sqm building of warehouse and office space in Industrial Park Kutná Hora, next to its current production plant. The modern warehouse building was developed by Belgian developer, Industrial and Logistics Developments NV, and was fully completed after a 7 month construction period. The operations in the new warehouse will be managed by the 3PL company, Global Logistics Solutions.

Global Logistics Solutions the logistics service provider, is expanding to the new location in Kutná Hora to support the inbound delivery of materials to the Foxconn’s production.

Global Logistics Solutions has had its seat in Pardubice since 2001 and JLL has also recently extended its lease within CTP Park Pardubice. The new expansion of the operations to Kutná Hora is a very significant success of the company. It’s also a very good news for the city of Kutná Hora as the new project shall create about 150 new jobs in the final phase. JLL worked alongside Global Logistics Solutions and Foxconn to successfully negotiate the best terms for this state of the art build to own facility” comments Miroslav Kotek, Senior Consultant, Industrial Agency at Jones Lang LaSalle.

Graeme Strachan, Manager at Global Logistics Solutions, adds: “As JLL mention above, this is a significant milestone for Global Logistics Solutions and raises our capacity to over 70,000 pallet spaces. It gives us an excellent base to build on for the future and supports our strategic goals to provide Warehousing and Logistic Services not just to Foxconn and their partners but also allows for expansion into the Czech / EU market place”.
