The Mlýnec restaurant has recently introduced its new weekend specials - its Saturday and Sunday roasts. What does it mean? A roast isan ideal combination of a traditional lunch and a still more popular brunch. Exaggerating only a little, we could describe the roast as a Sunday lunch at some-one’s Mum’s when the guests all sit at the table and a variety of “dainties” are being brought to them directly from the kitchen.
The main advantage over the well-known brunches lies in the fact that the food is not displayed at a buffet but is served directly to the table, thus absolutely fresh. In addition to that, one does not need to choose anything and break off the conversation with friends. People just sit back and enjoy the served specialties. Thanks to its informal, relaxed atmosphere that can also be enjoyed on the romantic terrace with the view of the Charles Bridge (weather pending), you will be able to experience the utmost relaxation at the Saturday roast, without any stress. Sunday Roast is a tradition that originated in Great Britain where the family and friends get together for lunch on Sundays. Its popularity in this country has been growingquickly. Traditional dishes of the weekend roast at Mlýnec include veal shank, venison and turkey breast, together with roast beef and grilled fish. The menu changes every week. As a side dish, you can enjoy fresh salads or baked potatoes. A selection of homemade desserts is served at the end. And what about beverages? Guests are welcomed with a glass of Sherry or Chateau Radyně sect. Afterwards, they can enjoy an unlimited amount of other complimentary drinks, for example, fresh orange juice, beer or quality wines, while the little ones go play to the children’s Conner.
