White & Case moves into former ČSOB headquarters

Global law firm White & Case is relocating its Prague office to the former headquarters of merchant bank Československá obchodní banka (ČSOB).
The new office at Na Příkopě 14, which will be occupied and fully operational from May 19th, maintains the Firm’s presence in the heart of the Czech capital and underlines its position as one of the leading international law firms operating in the Czech market.
The former ČSOB home has undergone extensive renovation and now meets ‘green building’ standards with gold certification from LEED (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design), the scheme which recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices.
Prague office executive partner David Plch said: “This was the ideal opportunity to move our Prague operation into offices that are more modern and flexible, will allow us to improve the on-site service we’re able to offer our clients and meet recognized environmental standards. Na Příkopě 14 also fulfils a key requirement of remaining in Prague’s historic center, emphasizing our status as a leading international law firm as we continue to pursue further growth in the Czech and other Central & Eastern European markets.”
White & Case is leasing its new Prague office from property developers LORDSHIP a.s. and IMMOFINANZ Group, leaving its current location at Na Příkopě 8. The Firm has also previously operated from an historic building in Prague’s Old Town Square.
