Dalibor Kačmář of Microsoft (current IT committee chairperson) will continue as a chairman of IT committee for the next membership year 2014/2015. Chairperson is elected to serve 1 year term.
Person information:
Dalibor Kačmář, has been working for Microsoft for 11 year in variety positions. Mainly as Platform Strategy advisor and recently is managing all server business in Czech Republic. Before joining Microsoft, Dalibor led externally a software developer strategy as the Microsoft Regional MSDN Director and used to teach at different universities in Czech Republic, USA and Finland for more than 12 years.
In past three years Dalibor was a member of the Executive Board of SPIR, Czech professional association active in the field of internet advertising. He is also member of AmCham IT Committee since 2010, representing Czech Microsoft subsidiary and driving some of the events related to the latest trends. Dalibor was elected in summer 2012 as the IT Committee Chairperson. Since 2010 he’s been also organizing Czech Cloud Computing Group on the professional network LinkedIn.
Dalibor is recognized speaker at major IT conference in Czech Republic covering latest IT trends and strategies, cloud computing, IT business related topics, security and legal aspects of cloud computing. Those areas are also fully covering his professional interests.
Vision for running and development of AmCham IT Committee
The first two year of IT committee leading proved we as a group were heading right direction. The committee grew significantly both in terms of active members and number of activities. The committee recently has about 30 members who are active. Based on the feedback from several member, the group is now well externally positioned and perceived.
