26.06.2014
Company: PricewaterhouseCoopers Česká republika, s.r.o.

Jaroslav Mitáš will lead the PwC Brno office, and Michal Stránský will lead the Ostrava office. Jaroslav Mitáš was appointed as a director of the PwC Czech Republic office in Brno from July 2014. The Ostrava office will be led by Michal Stránský from August 2014. The advisory and auditing services for Moravian clients have been led up to now by Marek Richter. Marek is going to lead the Financial Institutions Audit department for PwC CR from July 2014.

The new management of the Brno and Ostrava offices will focus on developing the relations with important Moravian companies and on raising the awareness of PwC in the Moravian region among the multinational companies that are represented there. There is potential particularly in tax and transactions advisory and in audit services for privately owned companies.

Next year, we are going to celebrate the 20-year anniversary of our Brno office. During this time, the Moravian metropolis has become an important technological centre and a place of business for many companies. We appreciate them and offer our tax, legal, audit and advisory services to local businessmen as well as to multinationals”, says Jaroslav Mitáš, new director of the Brno office of PwC Czech Republic.

The Ostrava region combines traditional industry and modern business. We have cooperated with a number of important companies for more than 15 years. We know the specifics of this region well, and we supplement it with the experience of our professionals from all around the world. I am glad that I can be a part of it”, says Michal Stránský, new director of the Ostrava office of PwC Czech Republic.

Jaroslav Mitáš (41) has worked in PwC since 1997. He has a lot of experience with advisory and audit services for manufacturing companies and for companies from the wholesale, retail and service sector.
