Marek Richter became head of the audit services department for financial institutions in PwC Czech Republic. He replaces Petr Kříž who will now focus on the regulation of accounting and auditing in the Czech Republic and the EU.
“Financial institutions are under the scrutiny of regulators, investors and other interested parties. The economic environment is not easy. We want to continue to bring maximum added value to our clients from the financial services sector,” says Marek Richter.
Marek Richter (45) has worked in PwC since 1993; he became a partner in 2006. He graduated from the University of Technology (majoring in economics and management). He is a member of the International Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and of the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic. He speaks fluent English. Marek Richter is married. He spends his free time with his family, doing sports and travelling.
