CEDEM 2014 will focus on the prospects of the European economy and their consequences for the real estate market

The 15th annual specialist conference CEDEM CEE 2014 will be held in Prague in Slovanský dům Na Příkopě street on the 23rd and 24th of September. The conference focuses on the CEE real estate market. CBRE is the general partner of the 15th annual CEDEM 2014 Conference

The real estate market in Central and Eastern Europe has been recovering slowly and Europe is becoming cautiously optimistic. Many European countries have been experiencing economic growth and the Euro crisis has receded. However, some uncertainty still persists. How will investors behave and will they be willing to undergo greater risks in the market? Will the investment markets in Slovakia, Hungary and Romania regain liquidity? Is the office space development boom sustainable? This year, the CEDEM CEE 2014 Conference will tackle the most difficult problems faced by in the region. This is the most important international meeting of real estate investors, developers, financiers and professionals in the field of real estate in Central Europe. You will hear contributions from renowned personalities who will define the prospects of the European economy and their consequences for the real estate market. The organizer of the conference is Roberts Publishing Media Group.

CBRE is the general partner, while Richard Curran, the Managing Director of CBRE Czech Republic will actively participate in the conference, along with Jeff Alson, Head of Capital Markets of CBRE Czech Republic, and Mike Atwell, Senior Director of CEE Capital Markets CBRE Poland and Jos Tromp Head of CEE Research & Consulting CBRE.

One of the key presentations will by the presentation by Jos Tromp focussing on the perspective of what we can expect from the markets of Central and Eastern Europe in terms of rental growth and total revenues. The theme will build further on the situation in the east and where risks of its negative development could influence the real estate market in Central Europe.
