Traffic Development at Václav Havel Airport Prague - August 2014

Václav Havel Airport Prague handled a total of 1,263,559 passengers in August 2014, which represents a very minor decrease year-on-year. The overall number of take-offs and landings equalled to 12,166.

Václav Havel Airport Prague handled a total of 1,263,559 passengers in August 2014, which represents a very minor decrease year-on-year. The overall number of take-offs and landings equalled to 12,166. 

When compared with the same period of the previous year, the number of passengers enjoying the services of the low-cost carriers increased by 12.96%. The same comparison shows a slight decrease of operations in the full-service carriers segment, while the number of passengers on charter flights grew by 9.68% year-on-year.

In August 2014, the majority of passenger arrived from or departed to Greece, Great Britain and the Russian Federation. The three most popular destinations were Moscow/Sheremetyevo, Paris/CDG and Frankfurt.
