UniCredit Bank scores as one of the three best in 2014 Best Bank competition

The 6th edition of 2014 Best Bank competition, organised by the Hospodářské noviny daily, has resulted in two awards for UniCredit Bank – ranking it among the best in the main category of 2014 Best Bank, as well as in the 2014 Most Client Friendly Bank category.

The contest is aimed at evaluating the quality and offered range of banking products and services. The survey includes 21 Czech banks, assessed according to hundreds of objective figures and indicators.

Being ranked among the three top institutions in the 2014 Best Bank category means obviously a great honour to us, the same as our achievement in the category evaluated from the client perspective. We are a universal bank and provide a wide range of banking services to the small and medium businesses, large corporates and private clients. In the retail banking segment, we are among the leading experts in consumer lending, mortgage loans, personal accounts and investments. We have been putting long-term efforts in establishing individual client approach, flexibility and innovation. We appreciate the prizes conferred upon as a confirmation that we have been going the right direction,” noted Jiří Kunert, CEO and Board Chairman of UniCredit Bank.

The banks are evaluated both from the client and shareholder perspective. The survey studied the products on offer, their pricing structure, rates, availability, as well as communication with clients, using various mystery tests. In addition to that, financial results were analysed by applying several financial ratios that give a clear view of the financial stability of the banks. UniCredit Bank ranked third in both of the above categories.
