CZK 50.000 Mopped up by the Winner of the ICT Dissertation of the Year Contest

The 9th year of the Best Dissertation contest in the field of information and communication technologies (ICT) brought their winners to the fore recently. The competition has been organized by the ICT UNION along with partners from ICT and technology companies.
The winner of the „Mobile applications“ category, held specially under the auspices of T-Mobile company, Mr. Tomáš Sýkora from the Faculty of Information Technologies of the Prague Technical University (ČVUT), presented his dissertation „Design problems of the play cum educative applications for pre-school children". The second position came to Mr. Jan Zdeněk from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of ČVUT for his interesting project of mobile apps for identification and translation of japanese signs. On the third stair of the winners pace Mr. Martin Nuc stepped his light foot from the same faculty with his WheelGo project, the travel itinerary for wheelchair bounds.
The presented dissertations have been evaluated by the expert jury of T-Mobile specialists, university educationists and experts from the practice.
