The ALCRON restaurant reasserts once again its dominant position at the Czech market

The renowned restaurant of the Radisson Blu Alcron hotel has just added another significant award to the list of its achievements. It is already the third award gained this year. By conquering the victory in public voting through the TripAdvisor it has confirmed its leading position among Czech restaurants.

According to the results of the biggest travel guide TripAdvisor for 2014, the Alcron restaurant is the number 1 in the Best Restaurant category within the Czech Republic. At the European scale, it has gained a wonderful 24th ranking. The evaluation of TripAdvisor Travelers’ Choice Awards is entirely independent, in this case the “jury” is represented by all visitors to the given server who are interested in expressing their opinion related to a particular establishment and joining some commentary.

“I would like to take this opportunity and thank to you all, our guests. We deeply appreciate this award and we enjoy it with sincere pleasure,” said the managing director of the hotel, Mr. Michal Chour. “For us, the victory is a proof that we are going in the right direction. At the same time we definitely feel a certain obligation. An obligation to keep providing the best which is possible in the field of gastronomy.”

Thanks to the unforgettable atmosphere, a beautiful interior with only 24 seating places and wonderful service, ALCRON is one of the most sought-after restaurants of this time. “When managing a restaurant it does not really matter how good ideas or thoughts you have since you will never succeed without satisfied guests. Therefore, we listen carefully to our clients and make our best to fulfil their wishes. It is also this our approach that helps us move still forward,” mentioned David Pátek, F&B Manager of the hotel.

The head chef of the ALCRON restaurant since 2008 has been Roman Paulus. He commented on the award as follows: “I would like to thank once again on behalf of our whole team. It is always greatly motivating and positive if your long-term effort and work is appreciated. Currently we have prepared a new autumn menu for our guests which may hopefully still go beyond their expectations. You are all cordially invited.”

This year is in the sign of success for the ALCRON restaurant. The first award came along with the announcement of the annual Maurer's selection GRAND RESTAURANT 2014, in which the restaurant gained the 3rd ranking. In March of the same year, ALCRON appeared again in the gastronomic guide Michelin Main Cities of Europe thereby defending successfully for already the second time its Michelin star awarded in 2012.
