CMS Prague expands its team with five lawyers

CMS Prague has expanded its team with the hire of five lawyers. The new arrivals, who have joined the firm over the past two months, bring the total number of lawyers in the Prague office to 32. The growth of the team comes after a successful end to the 2013-14 financial year.

Helen Rodwell, Managing Partner at CMS Prague comments: “Since the summer of 2013 our office has experienced a significant uptick in work which has continued to this date. I am very pleased that we have hired such a group of talented lawyers to join our office and help us build further on this success. They bring with them valuable experience from previous employers, which include corporates in our key sectors as well as leading law firms.”

The following lawyers have joined the firm:

Lukáš Valúšek (33) has joined the Banking & Finance team at CMS from Hogan Lovells. Prior to going into private practice in 2014, he worked as in-house counsel at various banks in the Czech Republic for over 7 years. Most recently he was Head of legal and compliance at the Prague branch of Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank.

The Real Estate & Construction team was strengthened by the arrival of Petr Korál (30). He previously worked at Havel, Holásek & Partners and Weil Gotshal Manges, where he advised both Czech and international companies, in particular, with projects related to the construction and lease of commercial real estate, residential projects as well as construction disputes and litigation

Andrea Červenková (27) has joined the Commercial, Regulatory & Disputes practice from Hogan Lovells, where she was a junior associate. Before that Andrea was an in-house lawyer at ArcelorMittal Tubular Products Ostrava.

Adéla Kábrtová (26), a recent graduate has joined the Energy, Projects & Construction team at CMS. During her law studies at Charles University she gained experience as a paralegal at Kinstellar.

Jakub Šindelář (24) who has been a paralegal at CMS for 2 years, returns to the firm as koncipient after successfully taking his final exams at the Law Faculty of Charles University. Jakub has joined the Banking & Finance team.
