The objective of Plzeňský Prazdroj in the field of sustainable development is to be successful and to share such success with its partners and communities. We believe that we can only conduct our business successfully if we manage to align our business interests with the expectations of our consumers, customers, suppliers and people from the regions where we operate. Not only are the sustainability principles included in our strategy but they are also an inseparable part of our daily work, where we seek to implement these principles in everything we do. Our breweries strive to meet the highest environmental standards, and we respect nature and seek to use natural resources effectively. Our programs in support of communities have given birth to a number of useful projects mainly in the social sphere. We have also performed well in
our approach to the reuse of waste. And we have continued in our efforts to promote responsible alcohol consumption.
With the new financial year we have moved even further with this approach, introducing a new sustainable development concept called Prosper. For us, to prosper is about making new commitments in all spheres of our conduct, in particular in the field of water and energy usage savings, where we have managed to reach the targets set. The Prosper ambition also means greater engagement of our partners, from farmers to retailers, whom we wish to work with towards success, and to share it with. At roughly the same time next year we will inform you about how successful we have been in fulfilling this new concept.
