Changes of the rules governing proving and registration of beneficial owners

On June 1st, 2021, the new Act on registration of beneficial owners will become effective, fully replacing the current legislation.
Beneficial owners who are not registered in the Register of Beneficial Owners will not be entitled to vote at the general meeting of the company and to receive their profit shares. The main objective of the new legislation is to force the beneficial owner to comply with the obligation to register.
