Waking up early when you’re travelling or on holiday might sound like a strange idea, but it’s actually a wonderful winter way to explore a destination with a unique perspective! We’ve suggested some of our favourite early morning activities close to Vienna House hotels, which you can complete before heading back for breakfast! Some make up a lovely winter walk, whilst others will showcase the most fairytale like settings!

Get back in shape straight straight after a festival feast 
Head to True Pilates Prague from 7am for a 55-minute authentic Pilates session, following the original exercises designed by Joseph Pilates. For over 50 years the studio has been dedicated to teaching the original exercises using authentic apparatus and equipment! Book your class via the website, with the option to book private sessions or join a small group of 4-5 people.

Experience a Berlin winter sunrise from the perfect setting
Visit the Reichstag Building Dome & Roof Terrace in Berlin
The Reichstag is the seat of the German Parliament and one of the most famous landmarks in Berlin! While the dome and roof terrace is open all day, registering for the 8am entry means that you will avoid the crowds. In winter you may even see the city just after sunrise, with views stretching across the city!

Street Art Sightseeing Walk in Lodz is one of Europe’s most up-and-coming cities! The Galeria Urban Forms  street art project saw artists paint huge, stunning murals dotted about the city, so what better way to start your day than an early morning sightseeing walk! Dawn in Karlovy Vary a fairy tail view first thing…  
While the Diana Observation Tower and funicular opens at 9am and is well worth a visit, wake up at sunrise and take a 15 minute hike to Deer Leap Lookout, which you will identify by the statue of a mountain goat standing on a rock overlooking the town! You will see the town spread out in front of you, with the sun shining over the colourful buildings and the lush forests – a wonderful way to spend the early morning!

Historical Walking in Limburg 
Situated in the Rhenish Slate Mountains along the Lahn RiverVienna House Easy Limburg is a three minute walk from Limburg’s historic old town, which offers a tour through the past! Enjoy the quiet early morning streets lined with intricate half-timbered houses and feel as though you have been transported back into a simpler time! Then, after breakfast with Vienna House, head back to the old town and marvel at the modern shops hidden inside those timbered buildings! It’s as though you were back in time at 6am and back to modern day by 9am! From Mondays to Saturdays the market opens at 10:00am, so this is the perfect place to finish your walk.
