This year's run of the Run and Help charity project took place in a different way than in previous years - virtually. Eversheds Sutherland, including its clients and employees, contributed the amount of CZK 21,274.
There was no joint event at this year's Run and Help charity run, but each athlete participated individually. It was possible to participate by running, walking, cycling, or by other sports activities. Each participant of the virtual run contributed to the transparent account of Konto Bariéry according to the number of kilometers completed.
The same amount was then also deposited to the account of Konto Bariéry by Eversheds Sutherland in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. As of 10 June, 2020, a total of CZK 21,274 was sent to the account. This year, the funds will be used to help Lucka, who lost her arm in a car accident.
"We participate in this project every year and neither did we want to forget this year, especially when at the beginning it seemed that the run would not take place at all. That is why we decided to do sport individually and contribute to Konto Bariéry for a good cause," says Stanislav Dvořák, Managing Partner of Eversheds Sutherland, adding: "And I'm glad that multiple of our clients have joined as well. Many thanks to everyone."
Eversheds Sutherland is among the TOP 15 global law firms. It employs more than 5,000 people in 69 offices and 34 jurisdictions in Europe, the USA, Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
