Frequently asked questions about mandatory employee testing

With the arrival of March, a large proportion of employers were subject to another obligation related to the coronavirus pandemic - mandatory testing of employees, which should take place at least once a week, according to emergency measures. A negative test result will be a condition for the work of employees at the workplace or the performance of work in general, if the employee works outside the workplace (but not from home).

As employers did not have much time to prepare for the new emergency measures, there are many doubts and ambiguities regarding the correct testing procedure. In this text (in Czech language only), we summarize the answers to the most common questions we have encountered in our practice so far.
