Global Logistics Solution, a subsidiary of Foxconn CZ, the second biggest Czech exporter and the biggest employer of the Pradubice region, is expanding. The company has leased a brand new 11,000 sqm warehouse in Logistika Park Pardubice located in Černá za Bory. The premises will be used for warehousing and logistic purposes servicing both Foxconn and GLS external clients.
„Global Logistics Solutions currently rents 50,000 sqm in 4 halls in Pardubice. The last addition to the company’s logistics network portfolio is a new modern built-to-suit hall in Logistika Park Pardubice. The new space in close proximity of the current Foxconn production plant was completed in a relatively short time enabling the company to flexibly react to its needs. It is great to see the revitalization of a brownfield site within such a strategic location, helping to support the growth of GLS and its customers in such close proximity of the current production plant,” adds Miroslav Kotek, Associate Director, Industrial, JLL.
Industrial market in the Pardubice region shows signs of a promising growth, currently it stands at 140,000 sqm of class-A industrial premises for rent. However, the growth is dependent on investments into infrastructure and master planning.
