Christian Hepp named as Head of M&A Advisory, EMEA
JLL has appointed Christian Hepp as Head of M&A Advisory for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and lead director of Corporate Finance in its EMEA capital markets business.
Mr. Hepp has over 13 years’ experience, having spent 10 years at JP Morgan Securities before joining JLL in 2014. In his new role he will work closely with JLL’s senior leadership and sector experts across the region to continue to grow this strategically important part of the business. Mr. Hepp’s particular focus will be on M&A and joint venture transactions, along with wider corporate finance services.
John O’Driscoll, current Head of M&A Advisory for EMEA, will leave JLL to become European Head of Transactions for AXA Investment Managers – Real Assets, from January 2018.
Matthew Richards, Head of Capital Markets, EMEA, at JLL, said, “Christian’s excellent international experience, deep knowledge of markets and familiarity with our teams and many of our clients make him a great choice to lead this key part of our business. We thank John for his great contributions and wish him the very best for the future. He has been instrumental in shaping and developing our corporate finance team and capabilities since he joined us from Deutsche Bank three years ago.”
Christian Hepp said, “The sheer weight of capital targeting real estate and the intricacies of the EMEA investment landscape present very specific opportunities and challenges for investors. By combining dedicated corporate finance advice with market-leading experience across all aspects of real estate we are able to provide tailor-made solutions for our clients, wherever they may be. I’m delighted to take on this broader role at such an evolutionary time.”
