Mergermarket Names White & Case CEE Legal Adviser of the Year

At its 2017 European M&A Awards ceremony on December 7 in London, Mergermarket named White & Case “Central & Eastern Europe M&A Legal Adviser of the Year.” The European M&A Awards is an annual event celebrating excellence in M&A expertise.
White & Case made the M&A Awards shortlist based on Mergermarket’s analysis of the volume and value of the firm’s deals from Q4 2016 through Q3 2017: 21 transactions totaling €7.8 billion.

Among the transactions which helped White & Case carry the day were the Firm’s representation of:
- P3 Logistics Parks and TPG Capital in the largest European real estate deal of 2016: the €2.4 billion sale of P3 to GIC
- Mid Europa Partners in the largest-ever private equity exit in Poland: the sale of Zabka Polska to CVC Capital
- Mid Europa, as part of a consortium, on its $3.253 billion acquisition of Allegro, the largest online marketplace and non-food shopping destination in Poland.
White & Case also represented Play and its shareholders, Novator and Olympia, on the €1 billion IPO of Play on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
