Schoenherr Czech Republic's real estate team has again moved another spot higher in the prestigious Chambers Europe international rankings of law firms, having now reached the Band 3 position. The higher ranking reflects the firm's high level of expertise as well as the growing interest in its real estate advisory services. This was also confirmed in the individual categories, where Gabriela Porupková, co-head of the real estate team, and Miroslav Dudek, a senior attorney at law, were ranked.
Meanwhile the team retained its Tier 2 ranking in another prestigious legal directory, Legal 500 EMEA, which reaf-firmed last year's assessment of the real estate team as "very driven and hardworking".
Led by Martin Kubánek, managing partner, and Gabriela Porupková, partner, the real estate team of Schoenherr Czech Republic also consists of Miroslav Dudek and five other lawyers. "We greatly appreciate this recognition, because we know that it is based on positive feedback from our clients as well as the other law firms that we regularly deal with," Gabriela Porupková said.
According to Chambers and Partners, a rating agency, the real estate team is known for its "significant regional presence, enabling strong cross-border and CEE-wide support to major regional investors and local clients."
Schoenherrꞌs Prague office was also ranked by both legal directories in corporate / M&A. Chambers Europe rewarded the excellent work of the corporate and transactional team in the past year by moving the team up in the rankings from Recognised Practitioner to Band 4. In Legal 500 EMEA, the team retained its Tier 2 position.
In competition law, the Prague team led by Jitka Linhartová confirmed its position as a high-quality provider of legal services. Chambers and Partners once again recognised Mrs Linhartová's professionalism and included her in the individual rankings.
Finally, Legal 500 EMEA confirmed Schoenherr's traditional position as one of the best law firms in the Czech Republic in banking, finance & capital markets, ranking it in Tier 4, same as last year.
Chambers Europe and Legal 500 EMEA are internationally recognised legal directories that compare law firms in different countries and areas of law. They are published annually and the results are based on comprehensive and independent research.
