It´s our pleasure to inform you that company Tesco Stores ČR joined AmCham as a Corporate member.
Appreciated by Czechs and ex-pats alike as a source of quality local and imported grocery and non-food products, Tesco is among the top retailers by turnover in the Czech Republic with 6 department stores and two hypermarkets. Two additional hypermarkets will be open by the end of 1999. In Slovakia Tesco is the # 1 retailer with 7 department stores and 2 hypermarkets to open in 1999. Tesco is the largest retailer in the UK, where it is headquartered.
