Testing of rescue parachute system

DSA a.s. has done the aerial testing of rescue parachute system from Stratos 07 s.r.o. related to balloon. It was already a second test which verified the functionality of rescue parachutes for partially loaded balloons. The balloon was lifted by helicopter AS-350B3e in the height of 300 m and thrown away. After a short fall the rescue parachute system was activated and the balloon has safely landed on the ground. The test was done twice and both times it was 100% successful.
