Vodafone is the first operator in the Czech Republic which decided to make a step that will contribute to the digitization of the country and the expansion of a faster mobile internet connection. In a few days, exactly on the evening of March 31, the company will close the history of its 3G network. It also serves customers via 2G, 4G and 5G, which fully replace 3G technology. More than 99% of customers will not be affected by the change, because they use newer devices and SIM cards, which already work on a faster 4G LTE network. On the contrary, switching off 3G will soon bring everyone who wants to use the mobile Internet, as the freed frequencies will serve to strengthen the newer 4G LTE and 5G technologies.
