FSSC Manager

For our significant client, newly formed Financial Shared Service Centre based in Prague, we are currently looking for an experienced candidate for the position of SSC Manager.

This role consists of several challenging tasks which require leadership, decision-making, managerial, strategic and motivational skills as it is crucial to develop and deliver high-quality strategies and services, ensure constant growth and improvement of the organization, negotiate agreements and policies, supervise various processes within the organization, such as business continuity and manage efficient cost-cutting performance. The main responsibilities also include developing and maintaining customer relationships, cooperating with all business units, staffing of positions of all levels of seniority, process improvement and other tasks.

To become a successful candidate, it is necessary to have MBA degree in Business, Finance/Accounting or a similar field, and at least 10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting and management of support services. Accounting certification ACCA or CPA is a must. Furthermore, it is required to have a broad knowledge of implementation of various processes, strategies and other initiatives as well as developed understanding of US GAAP and IFRS and business finance system platforms.

We are looking for a candidate with advanced skills in change management and process leadership, strategic thinker with managerial skills, flexibility and analytical thinking. Fluency in English language is a must, any other language is a big advantage.
