Product Development Manager

For our client, an international automotive producer of non-woven textiles, we are currently hiring for Product Development Manager.
The Product development Manager plans, organises, manages, coordinates and controls all Product Engineering activities in order to reach/achieve the global company targets, within a validated budget.
Daily tasks of PDM:
• Understands customers/ markets trends
• Taking responsibility for the product & technology design and the material selection for the application. He/she must understand the technical requirements of the product
• Manages product and materials development activities with R&D and PD engineers, taking in account manufacturing capabilities.
• Manages appropriate product validations
• Manages his department while establishing performance goals for all his subordinates, and monitors their performance on a continual basis
• Anticipates ahead the risks of major business decisions related to his department
• Implements the long term strategy for his departments
Profile we are looking for:
We are looking for a professional with university education in technical field, several years of experience in automotive production, very good knowledge and experience with non-woven product development, communicative level of English AND German language (Czech language is not required, however will be considered as an advantage).
