The position is within the security practice research program. As the research practice lead, the candidate will perform research program development and management, research scoping and design, sales and marketing support activities, will participate in both syndicated and custom research advising to both IT vendors and IT users on various aspects of enterprise IT security in Central and Eastern Europe. Moreover she/he will help to build internal and external visibility and awareness, support sales and clients engagements and will cooperate with other functional areas, such as other research programs, events and marketing.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will also perform senior research analyst tasks, such as tracking the security solution and services market with a particular emphasis on business trends, market evolution, competitive situation, threat evolution and industry innovation, technology trends form a security provider perspective and end-user perspective.
Responsibilities will include meeting the business goals and developing the research program and coordinating operative activity, such as meeting deadlines and QA/QCs requirements associated with the IT security research practice. Operative tasks include coordinating data collection, quantitative and qualitative analysis, delivering research content, writing reports and preparing presentations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum five years experience in the field of IT security solutions and services
• Native English speaker or fluent English speaker (fluency in a Central or Eastern European language is a plus)
• Experience with presenting in public, business development, product, and people management
• Proven time with Security industry market analysis and trends
• A University degree (IT or Business/Economics)
