The job:
• Managing cooling tower and boiler business in region of CR
• An approximate split between new business sales and account management is 40/60, including cross-selling and consultancy
• Responsible for all sales, account correspondence, contracts, orders received, new business implementation, troubleshooting and follow up within territory.
• Working to clarify defined commercial sales targets – reviewed on a monthly basis.
• The types of industries to service and to sell into are within pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, heavy and light engineering, dairy, plastics and chemicals, steel& paper mills
• Dealing with Technical, Engineering, Buyers and Facility Managers.
• Maintaining appropriate records.
• The position will report to the Area Manager abroad
Requirements:
Bachelor/ Master Degree, preferably in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering, is required or relevant years of experience instead.
Sales experience in the Water treatment industry is a distinctive advantage.
Sound technical knowledge of boiler and/or cooling water treatment and legislation.
Customer focus – Ability to fulfil customer needs and expectations. Must be professional and confident with internal and external customers.
Delivering Results – Deliver against strategic business kpi’s. Passionate about success and delivering operational excellence, whilst sharing best practice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a true service attitude
Fluent in English
