KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
In this role you will be responsible for Day to Day Level 1 and Level 2 support associated with IT Services (Workstation, Infrastructure, Servers, and Applications)
Candidate must be able to respond to, log and track all IT Service Requests and Incidents utilising ITIL best practices, with the ITIL Service Desk Tool – Service Now.
You will have solve the troubleshoot, and where possible resolve all hardware/software problems, and Level 1 & 2 application support issues.
Important is knowledge of Hardware/Software installation, upgrades and maintenance.
You will support the workstation and software deployment – Operating System, and Software packages.
You will monitor, troubleshoot and administer the network and telephony infrastructure.
In this position you will be responsible for support and management of the server infrastructure, including backup \ restoration procedures.
Candidate will follow all established ID policies \ procedures and security standards and best practices.
You will produce and maintain documentation as needed including reporting.
TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED
We are looking for someone who will be able to support Workstation– Windows 7.1Operating System, and associated software.
Important is knowledge Microsoft Office 2013 Professional Plus suite.
Knowledge of Desktop Security Platform is welcome– Preferably Bitdefender Desktop Security.
Demand Experience with Hardware Support – Computers, Printers (Desktop & MFD), Network (LAN\WiFi - CISCO), Mobile, Smart Phones, Servers, UPS, Video Projectors, Video Conferencing, backup infrastructure.
Experience with Support for Windows Server 2008 & 2012 environment including Microsoft Active Directory, DHCP, WSUS, GPO, File and print services, and Microsoft Hyper-V Virtualization.
Knowledge of Backup and Recovery procedures is demand – Symantec Backup Exec 2014.
Candidate should have to knowledge of Remote Access User support – Preferably CISCO Any connect remote access client.
Important is Knowledge of Workstation Packaging Deployment Solutions.
Skill of Basic Telephony Support is welcome – Hosted SIP Phone solutions.
Knowledge of Cabling infrastructure Support is advantage.
candidate should have knowledge of Information Systems Diagnostic \ fault resolution capabilities.
Experience with Information Systems Security Principles is welcome – Firewalls, Desktop Security, WEB Proxy Security, data security.
Knowledge of ITIL Service Desk Principles \ Best Practices is advantage.
Advantage for candidate is experience with Application Support – 1st level for the various business applications \ ERP systems, basic knowledge of different ERP systems, specifically SAP would be beneficial.

Advantage is strong analytical and problem solving skills, in identifying, and resolving IS problems.
We are looking for someone who will be willing for flexible working arrangements – some evening and weekend work may be required.
Advantage is knowledge of understanding of business skills.
Welcome is understanding \ appreciation of the fundamentals of SOX principles to ensure segregation of duties.
We are looking for someone who has at least 3 years professional experience in a similar position.
Important is Tertiary \ University Degree educated
