For our client, world leader in the production of office furniture, and his Czech plant that supplies whole Europe, we are looking for MANUFACTURING ENGINEER.
Mission:
• The Manufacturing Engineer under limited supervision will implement new products into the facility/factory/production floor.
• Accountable of improve productivity and profitability of existing production procedures.
• Responsible of providing ongoing support through the manufacturing life cycle.
• Acts as a technical resource in process technology.
• Train production operators on how to build the product following the standard work.
To succeed in this role, we need someone with the following profile:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering
Skills/Abilities:
• Good analysis skills: process, capacity, cost/benefit, waste stream, and quality tools
• Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques: flow, PQ, equipment reliability, and set up reduction
• Negotiation and Facilitation skills
• Knowledge of material handling and work measurement
• Productivity improvement techniques: RCI’s
• Interpersonal skills
• Computer skills; advanced level required to utilize excel, and access programs
• Knowledge of Engineering Design Process
• Project management and leadership ability
• Minimum 5 years of experience as Manufacturing Engineer
