Quality Lean Engineer

For our client, world leader in the production of office furniture, and his Czech plant that supplies whole Europe, we are looking for QUALITY LEAN ENGINEER.
Mission:
- Supports Steelcase Quality objectives and serves as the customer advocate in the total Supply Chain from our supply base through product development and manufacturing, to our customers
- Analyzes production and service processes and standards
- Responsible for plant Operational Excellence (Lean & Quality) efforts. Leads the integrated lean and quality efforts for a plant.
To succeed in this role, we need someone with the following profile:
Education/Experience: Minimum 1-3 years in Quality Field with Bachelor’s Degree
Skills/Abilities
- Good analysis skills: process, capacity, cost/benefit, waste stream, and quality tools
- Familiar with lean manufacturing techniques: flow, PQ, equipment reliability, and set up reduction
- Knowledge of material handling and work measurement
- Problem Solving/Decision Making: Ability to use a variety of methods and techniques in solving technical issues.
