Develop a team with a distinct and professional culture
Your role will be to lead a new Recruitment Support department of 7-10 people in Kladno. The team is part of our Business Service Operations (BSO), a newly established shared service centre that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from Kladno in the Czech Republic, Monterrey in Mexico, and Singapore. The regional BSO based in Kladno covers Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). You will play a key role in establishing a sustainable department, where we focus on end products and user perspectives - and where your priority is on people management and leadership.
Your responsibilities:
- Leadership and development of the team, to build a high performance culture, promote creativity, and set department direction for the future
- Finding improvements through close interaction with your colleagues and employees by using the LEGO® Continuous Improvements (LCI) approach
- Securing compliance of governance and policies, adherence to the global standardised process, with high quality and timely delivery of department deliverables
- Continuously promote efficiency and effectiveness and in collaboration with the LCI partner create and drive visual boards
- Helping develop the BSO as an agile, effective and efficient platform for growth to better support the future aspirations of the LEGO Group

HR experience and business understanding
Your team will be looking to you to set the direction, develop the department and nurture a unique culture in the right LEGO Spirit. The position requires leadership skills, strong analytical abilities and solid business understanding that match your positive, service-minded and out-going personality. You understand that mistakes are made to learn from - you are quick to do just that and pick yourself or your team up, when needed. Naturally, being a leader also requires you to have strong communication skills, just as you are flexible, structured and accurate in your work.
Your background:
- A Master's degree within a relevant area and 5+ years of relevant professional working experience within HR administration. Experience from a shared service centres is an advantage
- 2-3 years of leadership experience from a similar position outside of the LEGO Group
- Solid understanding of recruitment processes and supporting roles combined with significant business and market understanding related to customers
- Experienced in using MS Office. SAP E-rec experience is an advantage as is prior experience with an applicant tracking system
- English at an advanced level is a requirement
