We are looking for a motivated, knowledgeable Manager to join our Accounts Receivable department in our Business Service Operations unit in Kladno, Czech Republic.

The Accounts Receivable (AR) department interacts with great parts of the LEGO organization and therefore holds an important role within the Business Service Operations (BSO) covering Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

The overall purpose of the department is to enable the business to fulfil maximum orders with the lowest possible risk and to ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables, and in addition mitigate credit risk and risk associated to sales activities through efficient, global and standardised processes.

Leadership skills to inspire the builders of tomorrow
The Manager of Accounts Receivable will lead a team of 7-10 reports in the newly established BSO covering EMEA. The purpose of the BSO is to create an agile, effective and efficient platform for growth.

The aim of the BSO is to ensure scalability and adaptability by identifying areas of improvement in all of our processes and deliverables. The recommended solution must be adaptable for other functions.

The Manager plays a key role in establishing a sustainable AR department in the BSO. We need ambitious, inspiring, resilient and inclusive leaders with a holistic and global mindset in order to build a high-performing department, valuing collaboration, process excellence, quality and fun in the everyday life.

The BSO highly prioritises great people leadership, the expectation is therefore that people leadership and cross functional BSO leadership will take up 80% of focus for this position.

You will be expected to:
- Build a new AR team and BSO culture, including developing the AR team of employees and leaders
- Establish new collaborative relationships with the local business units and implement the global processes in EMEA
- Implement and optimise functional processes within department scope
- Manage complex stakeholders internally and externally in a new context
- Become an integral and critical part of the Global function of the BSO

But also managing basic execution of AR processes in a timely, efficient and accurate manner, including
- Accountable for overall high-quality service handling of customer queries from the business
- Driving execution of the "New ways of working"-agenda within the AR department and development of the BSO culture overall
- Building and strengthening professional network globally

You will need passion and drive, as well as have:
- M.Sc. degree within relevant Finance area - e.g. CPA/ACCA or any higher degree in Economics, Finance and Accounting
- +5 years of professional experience within the functional area demonstrating profound AR process knowledge and deep experience leading to concrete business results
- 2-3 years of leadership experience from similar role
- Functional expertise and strong cultural understanding
- Experience of working and driving a highly collaborative environment in a global setting, promoting coherence and the end-to-end perspective
- Communicates medium-term priorities and solutions to leadership in an effective manner
- Advanced level experience with Microsoft Office and SAP
- English at advanced level is a requirement
