Your new role
Thanks to a huge pipeline of projects that are literally streaming in, the company has created a major opportunity for a Senior Buyer / Procurement Specialist who will contribute to the successful performance in the construction management. You will be asked and expected to procure strategically all across the CEE region utilizing your network of contacts and mainly knowledge of the field in order to secure a steady source of both building materials as well as services. The role shall encompass frequent trips abroad, strategic negotiations with both new and existing suppliers and really lively cooperation with the project and construction management teams.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to successfully perform in the role of Senior Buyer, you will need to demonstrate a proven record in the field of strategic procurement of at least five years in a senior or managerial position. Furthermore, the client insists on a fluent knowledge of English language accompanied with university degree in construction. Being able to carry out a negotiation session in German is a benefit which in case of similar profiles will definitely be taken into account. Willingness to work long hours and travel extensively are yet another set of prerequisites for this challenging role.
