Your new role
As a UI/UX designer, you will have the opportunity to construct and iterate upon interfaces for cloud applications in a product group. You will help to build the best user experience and be open to collaboration in a highly agile environment. Such a position requires a self-motivated and driven individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills. This person will be responsible for delivering best-in-class user experience and aesthetic solutions across various applications. Be involved in developing UI/UX Design processes for cloud based applications.
Participate in discussions about user definition, UX and UI development, and help define how best to achieve business objectives through quality user experience and user interface design.
Iterate, produce, and present user flows, wireframes, and concept designs as needed.
Collaborate with the product manager and team to construct use cases and high-level requirements for applications.
Excellent communication and analytical skills, including the ability to communicate complex concepts
What you'll need to succeed
2+ years of experience in product/web/interaction design
A portfolio or samples of work demonstrating experience creating great user-centric design solutions
High level proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
Strong understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript - this role requires someone who can design and build
Solid knowledge of UI best practices, web interface design and stays current on design trends and technology evolution on the web
The ability to develop and/or use tools to create quick proof of concepts to demonstrate user interactions and processes
Experience researching, designing, and testing end-user interactions that resolve complex UX challenges
Obsessive attention to detail
Experience creating wireframes, storyboards and prototypes
Relevant degree, such as a BA in graphic or user interaction design, Human factors, Human computer interactions, Interaction Design, or Industrial Design
