For our international client, we are looking for a RedHat Specialist who will be responsible for server administration and resolution of issues on regional and global levels.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administration of RHEL 5,6,7 servers
Provide 2nd level of Linux/UNIX server support.
Resolve incidents concerning OS/HW on a day-to-day basis
Managing Security on servers based on DP DHL Security policy
Troubleshoot server hardware
Continuous improvement of existing RUN service.
Oversee from OS level perspective the administration of all applications on RHEL based servers by using appropriate monitoring tools.
Frequent contact and collaboration with IT support colleagues globally (EMEA, APIS, AMIS)
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience with server administration (RHEL 5, 6, 7) at least 1 year
Scripting in at least one language: Bash, PHP or Perl
English (at least B2)
Experiences with MySQL is of advantage
Veritas SF, VCS, File storage (NAS) is of advantage
