ACCOUNTANT - GENERAL LEDGER / ZELU Praha

For our client, international company providing IT services, we are looking for suitable candidates for position of General Ledger Specialist with English.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for completing a range of financial activities and tasks. You will reconcile monthly suspense account and balance sheet accounts and ensure accounts are clean with justifiable balances, you will also participate in the preparation of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting and ensure follow up on outstanding balances taking corrective action in the following month. Other part of your responsibility will be to assist in the preparation of calculating financial ratios and maintaining historical records of ratios, to prepare information required for external audit and internal audit as directed, to assist in the completion of filing of local financial statements, VAT and corporate income tax and other compliance activities, ensure that information provided is in compliance with group accounting policies and procedures and internal control guidelines.
Requirements:
Suitable candidate should preferably have a university degree (finance, accounting) with very advanced / native like level of English (Czech is not required) and at least 4 years experience in an accounting, ideally within medium / large international company. Knowledge of IFRS is required; US GAAP would be an advantage. We are looking for a candidate with strong communication skills, analytical thinking and ability to multitask, meet deadlines and work under pressure. Suitable candidate should also be responsible, independent and able to communicate effectively with internal as well as external customer at all levels.
