SOLAR INDUSTRY/ SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST/ MB2

SENIOR RESEARCH ANALYST FOR PROJECTS WORLDWIDE/ MB2 SOLAR INDUSTRY BASED IN PRAGUE We are looking for a Senior Research Analyst to help our client lead their research programs. The client recently launched two new quantitative research programs focused on the solar industry with deep dive analysis on photovoltaics and solar inverters.
Senior Research Analyst will analyse segments of the industry with an emphasis on publishing quarterly metrics around vendor share, market sizing, application demand, and forecasting. This role has global responsibility working closely with other members of research teams.

Main responsibilities:

· Build and maintain relationships with major vendors within the photovoltaic and solar inverter industry’s
· Maintain quarterly vendor and forecasting models for energy research programs based upon financial reports, strategy calls, demand-side research, and press releases
· Stay on top of industry trends including changes to solar policy, module and supply chain pricing, and project trends
· Identify new research approaches needed to meet industry demand
· Work with others members of the team to ensure timely quarterly delivery of all quantitative analysis
· Work with sales and marketing to help drive business development and identify sales opportunities within the solar industry
· Collaborate with the teams to drive consulting and new research initiatives
· Regularly attend solar industry conferences including meeting with relevant vendors and conducting speaking engagements


We are seeking candidates with strong analytical skills (superior knowledge of Excel is required), market forecasting and/or market segmentation experience
· Strong communication and presenting skills required
· Experience in competitive analysis
· A working knowledge of the solar industry (vendors, supply chain knowledge, segmentation, and relevant technology)
· 5 years professional working experience
