International pharmaceutical company, experts in developing innovative products and providing quality health care in many countries, is searching for PURCHASING CATEGORY MANAGER.
Main Job Role:
Onsite lead to drive, manage and oversee all Sourcing and Procurement deliverables and initiatives for the Client
Lead Sourcing Projects across Indirect spend categories for the region
Lead Procurement process enhancement initiatives for the region
Review Policies and Contracts for opportunity identification and improvements
Drive Spot Sourcing initiatives and quick win solutions
Interface with company’s central Category CoE and Client’s SMEs to create synergies and value
Drive Contract negotiations / renegotiations
Ensure compliance, Reporting and a high degree of customer satisfaction
Expectations:
Graduate with total of 6-10 years experience in Sourcing & Procurement services
Past experience in leading sourcing teams and experience in managing indirect categories
Hands on experience in handling Sourcing projects for Indirect Materials/Categories in the above mentioned European region for at least 5 years
Ability and proven experience in drafting category strategy, sourcing planning, business case creation, sourcing execution and contract closure
Good knowledge of supplier market in the above mentioned European region for indirect purchasing categories such as Travel, Facilities Management, Fleet, Market research, HR & Professional Services, Advertising etc.
Experience in Travel Sourcing would be an added advantage
Experience in working with a pharma organization is an advantage
Ability to understand and read supplier contracts- should be fully conversant with Contract structures and contractual clauses; should have the ability to understand and draft contracts
Prior experience in Project Management or Program Management will be an advantage
Should have worked in a multiple stakeholder and customer facing environment
Hands on working experience in an ERP environment
Exposure to RFx / ESourcing Tools such as Ariba / Emptoris will be an advantge
Skills:
Very good communication skills
Good analytical skills
Good knowledge of MS Office
Language skills - English, Czech and Slovak on advanced or fluent level with business English to be able to communicate all the 3 languages in a business environment
