Our client, a middle sized international manufacturing company based in Prague is currently looking to recruit Finance Manager (Finanční Manažer) to become part of their success story.
This position, reporting to the General Manager, will have the following responsibilities:
The Finance Director is overall responsible for the Finance, IT, HR, and currency-control functions and legal issues of the companies of the SBU. The Finance Director is furthermore, responsible for proactively creating a high level of satisfaction with the stakeholders while observing the lowest possible financial risk.
The Finance Director is a member of the SBU Management Team with a personal responsibility for working horizontally through the entire Czech SBU and for working towards achieving the collective and overall goals of the business. This includes defining and driving both strategic and operational activities for Icopal in cooperation with the other members of the SBU management team as well as other management colleagues.
The Finance Director must participate in facilitating optimum communication and cooperation across all functions in order to ensure, that the common business goals are achieved.
The Finance Director is furthermore responsible for:
* The entire work of the Finance Department, which is defined through budgets, business and strategy plans and where the Finance Director as well as individual employees take personal responsibility for achieving these.
* Responsible for assuring correct data-input to the SAP ERP-system and that out-put is correct, i.e. reconsolidation of internal reports e.g. that sales and financial reports are consistent.
* Correct tax accounting and reporting, i.e. VAT, Income Tax, Corporate and Profit tax, transfer pricing etc.
* Prepare, maintain and develop relevant management reporting according to IFRS, e.g. P&L, sale, costs, cash-flow, working capital, debtors (credit lines, credit time, and discounts), creditors, stocks and inventories, periods, intra-company transactions, production norms versus real figures, etc.
* Assure cost control of all procurements and expenditures incl. contracts versus inflation/raw material prices,
* Local management support:
* The car fleet of the company
* Establish and maintain Transfer Pricing documentation within the Group
From your background in an internationally focussed organisation you will already have at least 5-10 years work experience within both the Accounting and Controlling fields on managerial level, and you will be looking for the next step in your career.
Your ideal qualification will include a Master degree in Economics, and due to the nature of the role, you must have gained experience from manufacturing environment, IFRS and Czech accounting and tax regulations. You will have the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to plan projects accordingly.
Minimum 5 years experience within SAP accounting/finance module are a ‘must’ condition for the Candidate.
This is very “hands on” position suitable for managers who are leading small, maximum middle sized teams.
Your strong influencing skills coupled with your solid decision making capabilities will ensure that you have buy-in from your internal customers.
Your communication skills will be excellent, allowing you to negotiate at all levels and with an ability to explain concepts and ideas and convey how these will impact on the business.
You will be fluent in both written and spoken English and Czech and be comfortable with using your language skills everyday in a business environment.
