Our client leads in technology fields from turbine and generator technology to sensors, controls, meters, and many other products. Within the Software Solutions Group, they develop software products supporting power generation, transmission and distribution right through to end-user metering, and monitoring and diagnostics. In this role you will define and work within an agile environment to develop and deliver solutions for company product suite.
Essential Responsibilities


Lead the Digital Energy Business Commercial Management team to close business transactions and meet financial targets
Key region resource to refine deal strategies, pull together appropriate functional teams to drive customer objectives and ensuring that proposals/contracts meet customer requirements.
Responsible for developing strategy for complex commercial deals
Provide support to strategic direction in deal review management, communicating deals to appropriate levels in the organization
Manage/own/lead deal risk/pricing review & approval process
Leader the commercial compliance to deal review policies
Support contractual negotiation with lead commercial managers and sale teams
Responsible for deal structure & allocating it to commercial managers to process
Work as a key member of the region team in support of achieving the region’s key performance meterics:
Orders, Sales, Contribution Margin ($ and %) and improved win rates.
Represent the commercial team while working with the Region Sales team on the strategy development to create winning proposals and building business pipeline of orders
Drive operating metrics, centered on offerings and individual productivity, to promote commercial throughput, yield, cost, and efficiency
Utilize understanding of order-booking requirements to enable quality bookings process
Work with Regional and Business leadership to overcome obstacles or challenges to meet customer objectives
Work with / effectively influence, functions beyond sales to deliver customer solution and ensure deal closure

Requirements:


Strong Leadership skills with ability to lead a remote team across borders and cultures
Strong commercial and bid management skills
Sales experience (direct or supporting function )
Highly motivated, flexible individual
Analytical and innovative thinking
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Self-starter, team-player
Ability to contribute in an international environment
Excellent knowledge of MS Office tools
Relevant European work permit
Outstanding interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building strong team relationships

Desired Characteristics


Technical competency preferred with understanding of utility products and services
Bachelor Degree, Technical Degree or similar. MBA qualification preferred.
Excellent negotiating and deal closing skills
