Individual engineers are responsible for technical operations of infrastructure solutions, which includes alignment of technology standards, capacity and operatability with solution development and ensuring (external and internal) suppliers of infrastructure solutions deliver according to the requirements.
Translation of Business IT solutions into specifications for technology services as provided by Infrastructure and Operations
Assurance that the technology services meet all standards and compliance requirements
Estimate cost of build and operations of the required technology services
Approves work orders / build specifications of infrastructure and operations related (external and internal) service providers
Validates the (content) delivery of the services as provided by the (external and internal) service providers



Hosting (Red Hat Linux, Windows, 3par, Solaris, vxopscenter, VMWare, XenWorks, Server management)
Network (Brocade, Cisco, Juniper)
Middleware Management (Oracle, Jboss)
End User Computing (General accepted windows stack, VDI solutions)
Security Solutions (Novell Access Management, ArcSight)
